This book took the Cupid story and mixed it with that of Romeo and Juliet. MELODY Spencer and Luke Neilson are fighting to end the field between their family in a very round about way so they can be together. Cupid, Texas is in the middle of the worst drought ever when Mayor (Luke) heads to New York to meet up with MELODY for help.

This book started out kind of slow but it picked up speed and turned out to be really good. I have enjoyed a couple other Cupid, Texas books and this one like the others doesn't disappoint. There is love, adventure, turmoil and so much more. Absolutely enjoyed this book once I got past the slow part.
