Seducing Lauren Review...

In the second book in the Love Under the Big Sky series from this USA Today bestselling author of the With Me in Seattle series, life in Montana gets spicy when a woman and her divorce lawyer sign off the papers—and sign on to love.

Now that his best friend, Josh, has happily settled down with his true love on a Montana ranch, small-town lawyer Ty Sullivan starts thinking that maybe single life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. And when Lauren Cunningham’s no-good ex-husband comes after her for an unexpected trust fund, Ty steps in to protect her. But soon he can’t help but think of her as more than a client. Lauren’s in no mood to jump into another relationship, so how can Ty convince her that her mistake wasn’t getting married, but marrying the wrong guy?

REVIEWED BY KAYLA:

I have enjoyed all of Kristen’s books and it was no different with Seducing Lauren. It was an amazing read and I loved it!
Now that Ty’s best friend is settled down with Cara, small town lawyer Ty starts thinking that maybe single life isn’t all that used to be. Lauren’s no good ex-husband is coming after her for the money she received after her parents died. Ty wants to protect her. But he can’t help and be with her too. Lauren doesn’t want another relationship so soon but can Ty convince her that she is worth it?
I liked the dual Point of View. It is always nice to see each person’s perspective in the book.
I found Seducing Lauren to be well written and worth the read. I highly recommend reading this and Loving Cara if you haven’t read it! I give Seducing Lauren 4 out of 5 stars!

I loved reading Jane’s Melody and I was excited to read Jane’s Harmony. It was a great read. Ryan Winfield is a great writer.
What do you do when you have to start over? Jane is forty and she quit her job and sells her house and leaves Seattle to follow her boyfriend to Texas.
After the death of Melody, Jane never thought she would be happy again and then she met Caleb. He is sensitive, caring and loving and mature beyond his years. Caleb is a handsome, struggling musician. But when his fortune takes an unexpected turn, Jane is left wondering where she fits into his life. Jane is trying to figure out if you can leave to past behind or if it’s not possible.
I really enjoyed Jane’s Harmony. I highly recommend both books! I give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Star Attraction Review...

NEW FROM DESTINY ROMANCE
STAR ATTRACTION
VANESSA STUBBS
Chick Lit Romance, Destiny Romance…rrp $4.99
Publication date: 14 May 2014

The worlds of media and celebrity collide in this fun and engrossing debut novel from entertainment and fashion writer Vanessa Stubbs.

Exploring the phenomenon of when opposites attract Star Attraction pitches two people at the height of their successful careers and asks if they'd risk it all for love.

The tale begins when Madison, an independent, ambitious journalist reporting on the issues that matter, is sent to interview Jamie (most-gorgeous-man-on-earth) Hall and Hollywood heartthrob from The Rose Diaries, a generation defining flick.

Suddenly Jamie Hall collapses during his day of publicity and the pressure is on for Madison to get the inside scoop. While she never counted on offending Jamie, he is exhausted with the media putting words in his mouth, and the interview goes horribly wrong.

But a chance 3am meeting in the last place you'd expect to find a movie star reveals that not all
is as it seems with Jamie Hall.

They're from opposite worlds but Jamie and Madison have more in common than they realise.
Can their love blossom with their mounting career pressures and the entire world watching?

I have been reading this book for a while now and am really struggling
to get into it. I have pushed it aside multiple times over the last few
months and just can't do it. The story line seems to be well thought out
and the characters are easy to read. It is the writing style that is bothering
me and I can honestly say that I have given up on trying for now. I will
hopefully find the time to come back to it later and see if it gets any better
for me.

2.5 stars
